Activities

The activity of Kenergy consists of the Development of Renewable Energy Projects based on efficiency and competitiveness. The process in which our activity consists is based on the following steps:

Analysis and knowledge of the rules and regulations that affect the generation of energy through renewable sources in the country, state, region, etc., where Kenergy activities will be developed.
Analysis and knowledge of access to funding allowing projects to be executed profitably for investors and asset operators.
Negotiation, signature and registration of land contracts, whether leases or purchase options, both on private land and Community land ( in the Mexican energy market for example, Kenergy has extensive experience in the management of ” Ejidal land , providing scrupulous compliance with local agrarian law).

Identification of locations viable for a renewable energy project, for which Kenergy performs the following tasks:

– Analysis of the orography of the planned terrain.

– Analysis of the solar resource of the location in order to confirm sufficient production to make the project relatively competitive.

– Feasibility analysis of access to the transport network that allows to evacuate the energy produced (Substation or Line Cutting).

– Previous analysis of future compliance with environmental criteria and standards (fauna, flora, etc.).

– Preliminary analysis of future compliance with the necessary parameters to avoid adverse social impacts and with focus on generating an asset with clear benefits for all the inhabitants who in some way may be affected by the project.

– Previous analysis of the respect to the areas affected by archaeological remains.

– Conducting simulation studies of power flows and contingencies in order to have a preliminary idea of the interconnection capacity in the substation or line.

Set up of SPV that will house the land lease, permits, licenses and authorizations necessary to develop, build, operate and maintain the renewable energy generation asset.
Completion, directly or through third parties, of the studies necessary to obtain the permits, licenses and authorizations necessary to develop, build, operate and maintain the renewable energy generation asset. In this section we want to highlight:

– Topological, topographic, geotechnical, hydrological, hydraulic studies, etc.

– Basic engineering of the project

– Interconnection Engineering

– Manifest of Environmental Impact (MIA)

– Studies required for Use of Land permit

– Archeological and Social Impact Studies

– Hydrographic data and Studies

– Studies for crossing of existing infrastructure

Procurement of all permits, licenses and authorizations necessary to develop, build, operate and maintain the renewable energy generation asset.
Management of the entire interconnection process with its respective engineering.
Investor support in Due Diligence processes related to the sale of the project, financial closing, etc.
Support to the EPC during the execution process of the construction.
Support to the final Investor until the commercial operation of the plant (COD).
